Happy Saturday

Despite the 100 degree heat, I'll be spending part of today baking and preserving in the kitchen. I have about 5 pounds of strawberries from a local farm to play with and these sweet wee tomatoes from my own back yard... about 1.5 pounds or so.

A bit of crocheting and finalizing the "X marks the washcloth" pattern will fill the afternoon in between games with the boys.

After the trip to Sequoia, I somehow jumped on a roller coaster and have been unable to get off! Lots of recipes, family living tips and patterns coming soon. For now, I leave you with a few pics from this past week.
